Reducing injuries and saving lives through education
RAA works with the SA community, schools and other like-minded organisations to deliver a range of education programs that aim to improve road safety in our state.
From practical demonstrations on how to set your car up for a safe and comfortable drive, to hosting the largest youth road-safety event in SA, we have programs for all ages. Plus, they’re completely free.

For primary schools
To help keep your kids safe on the road, RAA runs Street Smart Primary – free, interactive road-safety lessons held in primary schools across SA. If you’d like us to come to your school, contact us today.

For secondary schools
As part of our commitment to reducing the youth road toll, RAA runs Street Smart High, the largest road-safety event of its kind in the state. The program is aimed at students in years 10 to 12. Register your school today.

For older drivers
From time to time, even the most experienced drivers might want to brush up on their skills and knowledge. The Years Ahead program is specifically tailored for an older audience and covers topics such as road rules, mobility choices and lifestyle.

For migrant drivers

CarFit
CarFit is a free program run by RAA to help motorists ‘fit’ safely and comfortably in their car. From eliminating blind spots to positioning your seat, we’ll help improve your drive.

Way2Go Bike Ed
The Way2Go Bike Ed program provides practical training in bicycle handling and road rules for students in years 4-7. Free bike checks are available for students who bring their own bikes along to the session.
